About JR Casting
After moving from the New York Market to Minneapolis, Jean Rohn and Kelly Gallagher opened JRcasting in 1994.
In NY, Jean worked as an Talent Agent and then with ABC’s “All My Children” as their Associated Casting Director.
Kelly started as an Actor/Director and was dragged behind the camera when he partnered with Jean in 1994.
What differentiates us from other Casting Directors is our ability to understand a Directors/Creatives ideas and turn words – edgy, quirky, “gimme a young Dennis Leary”- into faces.
